Mt. Morris mom wins $200K in lottery

How awesome is that? A 25 year old Mt. Morris woman won 200,000 on an instant lottery ticket. I think its great that it went to someone who actually needed it. She has children and is a stay at home mom. She is using it to buy a new home for her and her family. She had originally spent only $5.00 on the scratch off ticket to win that much money. I wonder how much of it she will actually get after those wonderful taxes.

Wow! That is awesome! Two hundred thousand dollars can do so much. I am glad she’s putting it into a good use and buying a new house. Especially that she’s a stay home mom and does not have an income, I wonder where she was spending money from? Anyways some people are just lucky like that; she does not seem like a big lottery person, since she only spent 5 dollars. I know people that spent a fortune on lottery with no luck. I wish her all the luck, and no matter how much she gets out of it after taxes is still good!

Congratulations! It is nice to see someone that lives basically right around the corner from you to win something that big. To top it off, someone that really needs it. Most people if they aren't use to that kind of money, would probably go on a shopping spree, so
at least she is buying something that will last her a life time hopefully. Her kids have to be so excited! I always said how nice it would be to win something like that, but I guess you have to play the lottery to win the lottery! I am to tight with my money and don't have the luck to ever win that much money, maybe five or ten dollars but not two hundred thousand.

It is good to know someone has won the lottery that wasn't far away. Everytime someone wins it's not around here or the person is eldery. Not that something is wrong with that. I just never here of a young person to much winning big close by. Any ways I'm happy for the mom and that she will be building a home for her family because I'm a young mother and I would do the samething.

Wow good for her, she sounds like she needed it. I wished I could win 200 grand. I would be poor but I wouldn’t be as poor, I would pay off my family’s house and put the rest of it in the bank and not touch it. Well ok you got me I would buy a car and a motorcycle then I would save the rest of it for a rainy day. Wow she only spent 5 dollars on the ticket. That’s a really big payoff. That’s a profit of 199,995 dollars if she didn’t take a lump sum. Maybe I will win big one day.

I kind of agree with you that it went to someone young that really needs the money. But i wish that was me about right now. I can do a lot with $200,000. I would pay off all of my mothers bills, get me lots of clothes, a brand new truck, help some of my family members out with a few hundreds, fix up my house and turn it to a beautiful home. The rest of the money i would put up for needs and my kids in the future. That makes me want to go and buy some scratch off lottery tickets.
