He was coming out of high school as the number one rated prospect for football as a quarterback; he was also coming out as a top fifty prospect for basketball. He was being recruited by a lot of big time school but mostly the schools of the big ten. He was highly recruited by Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State.
The only team that was in really dire need of this quarterback was the Michigan Wolverines. Both of the other schools have semi good quarterbacks and even a back up. The Wolverines this year were going to take this kid and make him a direct starter because their top two quarterbacks from last year graduated and transferred.
Michigan has a transfer student from Georgia Tech for this coming season but I don’t think he will add up to the fire power that Terrell Pryor would have brought to this team. Pryor chose Ohio state to play his college ball. This was smart on his part. They always have a great football team and their basketball team is back on the rise getting a lot of McDonalds all Americans to go to their school for basketball the next year. Sorry UM but it looks like your sinking hard core with the signing of Rich Rodriguez.

It's true they didnt get the quarterback they wanted but how many number one rated quarterbacks have you heard of that live up to all of the hype? I am a Michigan State fan so i would rather pryor go to ohio then to UofM. The wolverines will be ok though. It's going to take more then a year to set up the spread offense any ways. But like all the sports broadcasters say "good teams dont rebuild they reload."
