Heath Ledger Died Today!

Heath Ledger, star of the controversial film Brokeback Mountain, died today at the young age of 28. According to the press, he was found in an apartment by a housekeeper, who had come in to announce the arrival of a massouse for the actor. Police found the body surrounded by pills, and are convinced their was no foul play involved in the actor's death. Though Heath is expected to have died due to drug overdose, the autopsy results have yet to reveal the true cause of his demise.

It is expected the Australian born actor entered into a downward spiral of drugs and alcohol after breaking up with his three year girlfriend Michelle Williams. The two had a child together.

Heath's last film appearance will be in "The Dark Knight", the sequel to "Batman Begins." The movie looks fricken' awesome, and Heath appears to do a magnificent job portraying a demented and insane joker, as opposed to the almost comical Joker played by Jack Nicholson in a previous Batman film. Though the actor's death is tragic, the event will likely be a cause for ticket sales for this movie, as it will be the last one Heath will be in. The movie is expected to be a smash hit anyways.

Heath Ledger will be missed, that much is for sure - RIP.

What a very sad thing. I couldnt believe when my 15 year old called me and told me. My daughters really liked that guy. My heart really goes out to his parents, as that is a parents worst nightmare. Its a shame what happens to these young actors. The movie "10 things i hate about you" was pretty good, He was like 19 in that movie but yet so goodlooking and talented. You just never know what will happen in life........he will be missed by many people Im sure.

He was such a great actor. I really liked his movie a night’s tale and I really look forward to his new batman movie. It would really be a shame if they end up calling it a suicide because I really don’t think it was. I mean in the news right now they are saying that it was an accident and I hope it stays that way. It is a real shame that he died because I think that he would have been one of the best up and coming actors. He will defiantly be missed by all of his fans all over the world.

I can't believe his death. It seemed so sudden. Heath in my oppinion was a great actor. He would have had more roles and movies ahead of him in the future. From what I heard, I beleive it was an accidental overdose of anti-depressant drugs, probably from what you stated, about his brake up with Michelle Williams. I'm still suprised because it wasn't something that I saw coming. He wasn't like a crack whore Lindsay Lohan and because of that it makes his death even more tragic. My hat goes off to this guy, for the controversial role in Brokeback mountain, and an excellently played role. He also played a rebelious boy in The Patriot with Mel Gibson. He will defintely be missed.

Crazy stuff. I heard that it was goin to be ruled as an accident? I read reports that during the filming of the new batman movie he was only sleeping 2 hours a night and has been taking sleeping pills and anti anxiety pills. Maybe he accidently took the wrong ammount or maybe mixed the two the way he shouldnt have? Very sad stuff. I also heard those crazy Westboro church people were trying to say that he had it comming just cause he played a gay guy in Brockback mountain? Those people are nuts. laso very sad seeing how he ad a 2 year old baby girl.

It’s always unfortunate to hear about someone’s death. It’s too bad that the stress from his recent movie roles could have lead to an accidental overdose. With all of the media coverage that his death brought, his family now has to deal with paparazzi in their time of grief. Sometimes I think media channels should back off instead of stirring up conspiracies around people’s deaths. I also read about the Westboro Baptist church and their psychotic views about a role an actor played in a movie. No one, regardless of what they portray in a movie, deserves to have their own funeral picketed.
