Can’t sleep at night? Well there are now foods that they feel we can eat before bedtime to help us sleep. Tryptophan, an amino acid component of many plant and animal proteins is said to be one of the best natural sedatives. There are several components to get wanted results. It consists of the right amount of different amino acids. For the best explanation I suggest reading the short article. Some food that are suggested for adults are a non-fat flavored yogurt with granola, sliced apples with natural peanut butter, low fat granola bar, or even a scoop of low fat vanilla or strawberry ice cream. (For more specific details on the amounts just check out the page)
I personally think this is great. I have trouble sleeping a lot of the time, and finding something that is more natural is exciting. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m looking forward to trying it out myself.

Hey! you know what, that does sounds pretty good. Snacks make you go to sleep a night. I think i need that advice because sometimes it be alot nights when i just can't go to sleep. I try boring t.v., now sometimes it works but that makes me sick, because who want to suffer like that just to get some sleep huh? Well anyway, I think thats a good idea of those products you used like the lowfats, and the sliced apples with peanut butter. I never did it either but it sounds pretty cool.

This is so awesome i also have a hard time sleeping sometimes. i never knew that some of them foods could actually help someone fall asleep. i mainly use honey to help me sleep, thats suppose to help. It does the job. i will eventually read the article to find out what some of the other foods are. I dont really know how safe it would be to use these foods on a regular bases because it sounds like they do the same job as a sleeping pill, after all they work just like a sedative. It seems like there is a risk to get dependent on the food for sleep.

I am not one of those people that have a hard time getting to sleep usually. I guess I am to tired from doing so much homework! But my children sometimes do, so I also think that it sounds like a good idea. My thing is that when you eat at bedtime, it seems when you wake up in the morning you are starving to death. I haven't tried any of the foods that you suggested but I have tried the warm milk with them but that didn't seem to do anything. I was trying to cut as much sugar out of the rest of the day to see if that would help any. I say, whatever works!
