Gas prices could hit four dollars per gallon by spring

Gas prices to hit $4.00 a gallon by Spring. Does this really surprise you? It sure dont surprise me at all. Things are seeming to get worse and Im beginning to wonder if there will be any light at the end of the tunnel. I figured it woud continue to rise. What can we really do about it though? Not much. We just continue to deal with it because we all need gas in our vehicles to get to where we need to go. So we just keep paying those high gas prices and buying smaller cars that are better on gas mileage I guess. It is neverending , its always something. I feel sorry for my kids when they are older. I cant imagine what it will be like then. If it keeps going like this, its gonna be very tough for them.

I am not surprise! The price is going to keep getting higher and higher. I feel bad for the people who drive 2 hours a day to get to their job, school…etc. I can’t imagine how much money they pay now everyday with the current gas prices. How much more they going to pay? What about if they’re financial situation doesn’t help them to keep paying for gas? What are they going to end up with? I think that the government should find a solution for this situation. It can’t expect that everyone is capable of affording such gas prices.

This does not surprise me at all! But I honestly do not think that the government is going to do anything about it because I do no think they really care. After all, they are making the big bucks. All these people driving those sports utility vehicles and spending sixty dollars a fill up I feel sorry for. Do you think if they tried to sell or trade it in that they will get anything for it. I doubt it! These days you need a seperate job just to put gas in your car. That is ridiculous. With all the people losing their jobs and on unemployment, everyone is going to be just going to work and coming home. They won't be able to afford anything else.

It doesn't suprise me at all either, but i think that its just a rumor and something to just keep our minds off the war. I don't think those gas prices are going to go up to $4.00 though. The highest i think it might go up is probably up to $3.40. But if it does go up that high, it wouldn't too much mater to me because it only takes about $25.00 to fill my car up because i have a 4 cilinder tank, a 2 door cavalier. If it when up, it probably wouldn't cost me only a extra $5.00 to get a full tank so i will be straight but they are telling us this stuff to only keep our mind off the war.

It doesn’t surprise me either. In my opinion it’s a bunch of crap, ever since Bush got into the Whitehouse everything has been a disaster. I think we the people of the U.S. should all ban together to fight the government, no matter how big or how small you are you join the fight. That’s really the only thing we can do cause its only gonna get worse cause the next person who gets in has to fix all the mistakes bush has made and there’s probably gonna be alloy of cuts and such. What can we really do but fight back this is our country. If we don’t do something were gonna end up being just like the old USSR just the same. We have already had president bush violate the constitution with his wiretapping, we have no more free speech, and its really limited everything has to be government and family friendly. We should retaliate, I might even get shot or arrested or something for speaking out that’s how bad it has become. The founding fathers wouldn’t want it to be this way. The Gas prices are just one part of the puzzle. I don’t want to pay the gas prices…

I’ve slowly stopped looking at gas prices over several years. I’m probably going to be paying too much regardless of where I go, but it still stings knowing that I might be paying $4 some time soon. It makes me wonder about alternative fuels, I wouldn’t mind having a cheaper alternative to gas right now, but I’m not so sure that it’s going to happen anytime soon. The worst part is knowing that you need gas regularly and you’ll end up paying whatever they set the price at. I guess I can be thankful that I don’t live so far from school.

Supply meets demand.

It's a fact. The reason why gas prices soar is that nothing lasts forever.
If many American's didn't have some many gas hog Suv's it still would not help much. The government can't do anything really, what's done is done. We suffer becuase no one took the time in the past to plan ahead. The government caters to making us happy. We want are ego filled so we demand bigger vehicles. No one walks to the store or go for a bike ride. Modern tech. has eaten away our resources.

Well this does not surprise me either! But I just do not get it. What is the point of having those high gas prices? I mean it’s not like the economy is so good, and everyone has a job! The unemployment rate is getting higher and higher, and the economy is going down, but gas prices are going up!!!!! It does not make sense at all! And really gas is a necessity, so everyone needs it, but what happens to those people that can not afford to pay all of that money for gas and they really need transportation?! Things will get worse and not better that way!

The way gas prices are going right now I can see it happening. The other night i was sitting here and gas was at just over $3 and then my buddy comes over and says gas is at $3.43. I was like ya right and then I checked it out. IT went up $.20 over night. This is getting out of hand. I am glad I got a job when I did or I would be broke.

I drive an S10 so I have a little bit of an advantage over the bigger trucks. I feel bad for everyone who drives a 4 wheel drive truck.
